Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's ) Emissions Test
Volatile organic compounds (VOC's) are chemicals that are emitted as gasses from certain solids and liquids because of their high vapor pressure. They are present in products as residual solvents, chemical reaction or dissociation products, purposefully introduced additives, and manufacturing contaminants. VOC's can be human made and naturally occurring chemical compounds.
VOC's are a concern as both indoor and outdoor air pollutants. The main concern indoors is the potential for VOC's to have a negative impact on people’s health. Therefore, Plastpro has completed emission testing, which measures the rate of the release of VOC's to indoor air.
