Conneaut, OH — September 16, 2025 — Plastpro, Inc., a leading manufacturer of fiberglass entry doors, was presented with the Business Excellence Award at the 2025 Best of the County Awards Dinner, hosted by the Growth Partnership for Ashtabula County and Lake to River Ohio.

The recognition was celebrated alongside more than 150 community and business leaders. The award was accepted on behalf of Plastpro’s Founder & CEO, Shirley Wang, and Chairman, Walter Wang.

Along with this award, Plastpro received Congressional recognition from U.S. Representative David Joyce and commendations from the U.S. Senate.

  • Representative Joyce’s certificate recognized Plastpro for receiving the Business Excellence Award at the Growth Partnership’s Best of the County event.
  • Senator Jon Husted commended Plastpro for “over 30 years” as a leading employer and partner in Ashtabula County, and for a “major expansion project that created over 140 new jobs,” noting the company’s role in “expanding economic opportunities and creating quality jobs for Ohioans.”
  • Senator Bernie Moreno acknowledged Plastpro’s “outstanding contributions to your community and your commitment to making a difference,” stating that “Ohioans like you help make our state a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”
