Fire Rated: Wildlife Urban Interface

The California Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) is responsible for the development of minimum statewide building construction regulations that, when used in conjunction with hazardous vegetation management, will reduce statewide losses from disastrous wildfires. Our products below have been approved by The Office of the State Fire Marshal’s (SFM) Building Materials Listing Program (BML). Each product approval and listing is based upon an evaluation of test results that include an analysis of required product performance and reliability features.

Note that you will need to review with local building codes, because the requirements are allowed to be more stringent than the State Code.
