Plastpro’s Trimmable Fiberglass Door Recognized as ‘Most Innovative’

Plastpro is pleased to announce that its Trimmable Fiberglass door is being honored as the 2009 Crystal Achievement Award winner for “Most Innovative Door” in the large-manufacturer category according to Window & Door Magazine.

Introduced at the International Builders’ Show this January, Plastpro’s Trimmable Fiberglass doors allow contractors, remodelers, and builders to fit an existing doorway with precision by cutting up to 2 inches from the door’s width and/or length.  With trimmable 1-inch stiles on each side, as well as a half-inch top rail and a 1.5-inch bottom rail inside the door’s reinforced fiberglass skin, on-site alterations are simple and do not affect the structural integrity of the door.

Plastpro’s Trimmable Door is available in variety of styles from the Woodgrain and Smooth Skin series, including the Cottage-style — a white smooth skin design introduced earlier this year. 

Window & Door’s Crystal Achievement Awards – featured in the magazine’s September issue – recognize innovations and achievements in window and door technology, manufacturing, and marketing.  Winners are selected by a panel of judges representing all segments of the industry.
