Plastpro-Build Day

Every 12 minutes, a new home is being built somewhere in the world by Habitat for Humanity. Plastpro, in conjunction with its parent company JM Eagle, once again had the pleasant opportunity to be a part of this evolving progress: to build homes for low income families. On July 19, 2011, a dedicated team of 10 employees from both companies spent a day working at the build-site in Lynwood, California, to build an additional three homes in the area.

Both Plastpro and JM Eagle have been active members of Habitat for Humanity by donating products as well as volunteering on build days.  “This is our way to give back to society, to provide non-profit organizations with necessary support so that they can help improve communities. For Plastpro, it is a common practice to donate fiberglass entry door units to similar foundations across the country,” said Peini Spinazzola, Marketing Manager, Plastpro.

Erin Rank, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles, said, "Plastpro's continued partnership has enabled us to meet our door needs to complete homes for 13 families in Lynwood. We were delighted that Plastpro employees joined us for the second year in a row to have the tangible experience of building hope, lives and community on the site where their products will be installed."
